During the holiday I had some time to work on the Dancers Directory.
First of all I did some bigger updates with the database. Countries
and States are now in separate tables and everything is prepared for
future features (like for example camps you attended and clubs you
are a member of).
On the other side I changed the sorting order of the picture
gallery. Now the photos that got last added or modified are shown
first.
The search tool got extended by region and genre. Type
region:zurich to find all the people that are living in the region of
Zuerich and entered a region in their profile. If you look for male
or female dancers, you can search for sex:f or sex:m.
Don't worry anymore how you could find someone living in Äöéü.
The search logic will find everyone from Zürich if you type 'zurich'.
That means, if you come from a country that uses special chars in the
language - use them as normal.
